1. People of determination are required to have a disability and comprehensive services certificate issued by the Ministry of Social Solidarity.
2. They must have a medical report from a specialized medical committee at the customs office; this report includes the disability challenger’s personal information and indicates their ability to drive on their own or with a companion.
3. The vehicle must be exported directly from abroad and at the expense of the disability challenger
4. The vehicle must have an engine capacity of 1600 cc for all models and types, and there is no need to obtain the Euro-1 Certificate.
5. If the engine capacity exceeds 1600 cc, the disability challenger must pay the customs tax differences for the higher category if the vehicle is of non-European origin. If the vehicle is of European origin and exported from a European country, a Euro-1 certificate will be issued, and the vehicle will be exempt from customs duties.
6. The applicant must submit a declaration stating that he has not imported any exempt vehicles during the past five years prior to submitting the exemption request.
